LIT photo Shoot

My Lovely friend Anna invited me over to decorate her Christmas tree. Being Jewish, I’d never done it before, but I had such a good time! Afterwards, we had some extra lights, so we decided to take some photos.

Giving Back for the Holidays

Evey holiday season I dedicate a few mornings on the weekends and during my winter break for an amazing cause that’s benefits so many people

The Center for Hope and Safety has an annual Holiday Wrapping season. You can find their booths from December 1st to December 24th in locations like Paramus Park Mall, Barnes and Noble, and Chef Central. Just look for their signature purple aprons and you’re set.

I’ve been apart of this amazing tradition for 5 years! The money from shoppers who are in desperate need of wrapped presents (all donation based) goes to the shelter. For those of you who don’t know about Center for Hope and Safety it is based in Rochelle Park and it provides help and care for women and children of domestic violence.

Here’s a link to their website:

There are always volunteers needed and they have different events throughout the year where you can volunteer your time or donate

Holiday Shopping 2015 Part 1

Hi readers!

Sorry it’s been forever since my last post. Short story: school basically took over my life (thanks ACTs and papers!!). Now I’m on break so expect a ton on fun holiday posts ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š

As most beauty addicts know the holidays are death for us. The amount of times I’ve walked into Sephora to buy gifts for friends turns into an hour long shopping spree leaving me broke. But hey a little shopping never killed anybody.

Here’s just a sample of the tons of products I’ve bought this holiday season.

I’ve gone to Urban Decay heaven

My collection is almost complete! I just need to get the original Naked palette but I currently have $0 to my name so I’ll have to wait for my next paycheck

I’ve been wanting to get the Smokey palette for the longest time. It features such elegant shadows and of course are all sparkly because sparkles are a girls best friend (and so are diamonds)

The Naked Basics Palettes are perfect for school because these are neutral colors that are perfect for every day wear

I also purchased 2 Clinique products as well!

First I realized it was time for a new eyeliner and I suck at using pencil so I looked at Clinique’s liquid liners and this was their featured one. I’m so excited to try it ๐Ÿ™‚

The next product is a 24 hour wear mascara. I’m hoping this impresses me more than the Sephora brand one. I’m constantly going through the day with smudge marks under my eyes so I’m crossing my fingers that this one works

For now that’s all!

Happy holidays bloggers

Wishlist of things I can’t afford

The holidays are coming up and my Hanukkah list is getting longer by the minute. While most people only make on list, I make two…but one is of all things I can’t afford. Sounds dumb right? Wrong, it’s fun and liberating to make a list of wonderful objects that you would use in your dream life. When I make this list I don’t worry about price because I know none of it is in my budget, but I think it’s fun to make a list and imagine walking around carrying expensive items. Enjoy!

Miu Miu

These sunglasses are pink and sparkly, what could be bad?!

Marc Jacobs

Marc Jacobs and Disney collaboration, I think yes.

These sneakers have edge and sass, I love everything about them

Louis Vuitton

The shape and style of this bag is so classy and chic. It also came in black but I’m really digging the pink and gold trend that’s going on.

I’ve been eyeing these purse charms since they were fist introduced in the line. I think they’re so cute and funky. Plus, this one looks like Karl Lagerfeld!!

Zac Posen

Ok this is the third light pink thing I have on this list, but this dress is just so cool. Zac Posen is one of my most favorite designers ever and this plus the rest of his spring line is to die for.

Look at these, just look at them. These are the hottest shoes I’ve ever seen in my life. If I had these shoes, I would wear them everyday. EVERYday.

Betsey Johnson

Another one of my all time favorite designers. She is just so fun and sweet, I love how classy and cool this dress is.

Nicole Miller

The edge of this shirt is so funky, it takes patchworking to a new level.

Kate Spade

I love haw tailored and sleek this dress looks, the fabric looks so expensive and reminds me of a suit, but in dress form.

This list will probably grow in like two days, but these are my top faves for now. Now if any of you are feeling generous, feel free to buy any of these items for me! Haha, what’s on your wishlist?
